Why this workshop

Responsible AI in finance must move from principles to practice.

The challenge is no longer just to innovate but to innovate responsibly. RAIOps4Fin explores how Responsible AI can move beyond principles and become part of the everyday deployment of financial AI systems.

The workshop brings together researchers, practitioners, and regulators to turn fairness, transparency, robustness, privacy, and governance into actionable solutions.

As generative AI increasingly lowers the barrier to producing synthetic content, the financial sector also faces growing risks from AI-driven mis/disinformation, from fraudulent communications to content that can distort market behavior. The resulting impact of these frauds and distortions can be both monetary and societal, therefore making anti-mis/disinformation an important topic within the Responsible AI in Finance agenda.

By connecting cutting-edge research with deployment needs, RAIOps4Fin aims to foster practical knowledge exchange and shape trustworthy, auditable, and production-ready AI for the financial sector.

Topics of Interest

What we are looking for

RAIOps4Fin explores how Responsible AI can be effectively designed, governed, and deployed in financial systems. Case studies, frameworks, and experience reports addressing the practical deployment and operationalization of Responsible AI in financial systems are welcomed.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

RAI Operationalization - integrating fairness, explainability, privacy, and accountability in financial AI.
Lifecycle Monitoring - continuous AI monitoring, evaluation, documentation, governance, and trade-off management.
Model Risk & Compliance - validation, auditability, oversight, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Emerging AI Paradigms - governance and deployment of generative AI, foundation models, and agentic systems.
Disinformation & Misinformation - detecting, mitigating, and governing AI-generated financial disinformation and its impact on market integrity, fraud prevention, and public trust.
Sustainable AI - energy-efficient, environmentally responsible, and resource-aware AI for finance.

We welcome papers and encourage submissions that demonstrate practical relevance, empirical validation, or deployment experience.

01 Format & guidelines

Submissions are limited to 6 pages excluding references and appendices. Formatting guidelines of the host ICAIF conference should be used.

02 Review process

Reviewing is double-blind. There is no rebuttal period. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and attend to present the work.

03 Presentation

All accepted papers are invited to an oral slot.

03 Proceedings

Accepted papers of at least 5 pages may be considered for inclusion in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings, subject to the authors’ consent. Further details regarding the publication process will be provided after the review process.
